Staying Positive During This Stressful Time

Everything is energy when you break it down…
Even Words have energy, that’s why when someone says “I love you” we feel different emotions. Maybe your heart starts pounding, maybe your whole body relaxes.
This shows there is power in our intent, and power to words.
So if what someone else says about us or to us can affect us so drastically think about the power we have when we “self talk”.
1st tip-
This is where mantras come in. A mantra is a phrase (typically an “I Am” statement) that we repeatedly say to ourselves.
I want you to pick just one Mantra to repeat to yourself over the next few weeks. If you can, I want you to say it while looking at yourself in the mirror!(maybe work up to that.)
Examples of mantras:
“I am loved.”
“I am beautiful.”
“I forgive myself.”
“I accept love from others.” “I trust myself.”
You can choose one from above, or make one up! This might be difficult at first, and you might not feel any different by saying these in the beginning, but remember, a belief, is just a thought we keep thinking.
When we change our beliefs, we virtually can change how we perceive things around us, and inside of us! When we love ourselves, forgive others etc, this plays a role for our stress response in our physical body and how we carry stress in our body on an energetic level. The emotional body is directly tied to the physical. We must address the emotional, to help balance the physical!
2nd tip-
When you are feeling stressed, place a hand on your forehead. Hold it there until you feel your pulse.
Study shows, when we are stressed up to 90% of blood in our neocortex will leave and go to our extremities and vital organs.
The reason being, is if we are in fight or flight there is a greater need to “react” instead of think things through. Due to our stress response in the body, it’s belief is that we are physically in danger and we might need to run away from a lion like our ancestors!
Now our hands are electromagnetic, and so is our blood!
When we place our hands on our forehead it acts as a magnet, and draws the blood back to our neocortex!

3rd tip-
As many of you have come in for a foot zone, there are many points on the feet that tell me how stressed you are. One of the ways to balance the release of Cortisol (aka the stress hormone) is foot zoning the entire endocrine system! Now I can’t teach that over a news letter, but I can give you a pointer. If you take your big toes and massage them every day, believe it or not, it will make a difference. You’ll hit multiple points that make up the brain the oversee the hormone production and secretion of these hormones to your body!
